Magdalena Jaworska

Project Coordinator

Her interest in liturgical music was sparked while studying musicology at the Jagiellonian University. She is currently writing a master’s thesis about an eighteenth-century composer and copyist from the Jasna Góra monastery. She combines an academic background with experience in Kraków’s cultural institutions. During the Festival of Extraordinary Music and the first edition of the Musica Divina Festival she looked after foreign ensembles as a volunteer. She sees her traineeship at the Foundation as a stimulating challenge and a precious learning opportunity.

Privately, a lover of the opera and, since recently, also of various folk arrangements and world music. She attends the vocal studies class in a secondary music school in Kraków. In her spare time she likes hiking in the forests of Małopolska or curling up in a comfortable armchair with a good book.
